My thoughts on the subject. AI will soon be smarter than us. I am not convinced that AI will exterminate us, at least not right away without a reason as I don't see a motive like competition for resources. Our best bet is maybe to merge with AI. Imagine some sort of brain implant in the speech processing centers etc. to act as a port. I believe we are close to that level of understanding neurology. My understanding is that the brain is quite plastic and can in a sense be rewired especially in the very young. Then each human becomes a kind of intelligent terminal, albeit a slow one and we can share our thoughts and experiences. That would mean the end of privacy but if there is no privacy then none is needed. Right Socialists?
